Welcome,

Rule system

The core of our document automation is rules. Rules define which elements of a template should appear under which conditions. Rules can be set with just a few clicks.

Not only headings but also paragraphs and single words, punctuation marks or letters can be linked to rules. Answers, questions and sections can also be linked by rules, thus turning text and questionnaire completely dynamic.

LAWLIFT follows a specific system:

With a click into a headline, a paragraph, a question or an answer, the editing options for the whole element appear to the right: The RULES button and a button with three grey dots behind which further functions are hidden.

Warning

Please note that if you set rules on higher-level elements, they will apply to all elements below them. This means that rules in headings refer to all paragraphs below them. If you indent headings one level further, a rule in headings on the level above also refers to the indented heading.

At the top of the screen, after clicking in an element, you will find a bar for editing within an element: placeholders, inline rules and basic formatting.
