Variant 1: Export & Import of Answers from the Interview
Use Case
This variant is useful, for example, if the interview is to be completed by several people or if an intermediate status of the answers is to be saved.
1. Enable the export in the publication's settings. There, select ADDITIONAL EXPORT OPTIONS to offer the user the possibility to download the answers. The answers given during the document generation can be exported as CSV and JSON files.
2. Now open the publication, fill out the interview and then click on the three grey dots at the top right next to EXPORT DOCUMENT. A small new window will open. Here you can select whether you want to export the answers as a CSV or JSON file.
3. Open the publication again via the main link. At the bottom left you will find the IMPORT ANSWERS button. Now select the CSV or JSON file to upload your answers.
4. Now, you can edit the remaining part of the interview.
Variant 2: Save link
Use Case
This variant is particularly suitable if only you want to work on document generation.
If you find that you can no longer manage to work through the entire interview in terms of time, you can also continue your work at a later point.
1. Open the link to the publication. As soon as the publication opens, the publication link becomes an individual link.
2. Fill out the interview (at least partially).
3. Copy the publication link and save the link.
Tip
You can save the link in a note or create a bookmark in your web browser.
4. Now, you can open the link again later and the answers will be preserved.
Attention
The answers in the published template are not stored by us. They are only contained in the respective browser. Therefore, please make sure to use the same browser after copying.
As soon as you delete the cache data, the answers also disappear.
