Creating numbered lists

Ordered lists are enumerations that are not subject to the numbering of the document.

If you want to convert a paragraph into a list element, click in the paragraph, then on the three dots in the right margin and then on the button "LIST ELEMENT".

Click on the button again to turn the list element back into a paragraph.

Info

If a paragraph is deposited as a list element, you can record this visually. The three dots have now become an exclamation mark, which appears when you click into the paragraph. In addition, the list element button is highlighted.

The list elements can be positioned on nine different levels like any other heading or paragraph.

Formatting numbered lists

First, please read the LAWLIFT Design Guide III.1 or watch a video from the LAWLIFT Academy on formatting.

Open your letterhead template and open the style sheets. Scroll to the LL Ordered List format. Hover over LL Ordered List, click on the arrow and select "Change...". In the window that opens, you can now make the settings for the formatting.

Select "Format" at the bottom left and then click on "Numbering" to change the numbering. Select the numbering character of the first level. Select "New documents based on this template" and confirm with "OK".

Now open the Multi-level list and define a new list type.
