Welcome,
How Can We Help You?

Share Template with Users

In LAWLIFT you can grant different rights to individual users. The creator of a template, its author, can choose whom he wants to grant access, and to what extent. This is done via the SHARE-function of LAWLIFT, which is described in this article, and via the TEAM MODE.

If one of you has been assigned the role of Superadmins, this user can access all existing templates in the account and edit them without restriction.
For all other roles: You can edit all the templates you create without making a copy. If you want to make a copy, e.g. to save the current state of the template, you can copy it under the three points.
If a template has only been shared with you by another user, you will not be able to work with the other user directly in the template. You can only use the template or create a copy in which you can edit it afterwards. If you now want to edit this copy, no copy will be created. Only if you click on the template you have shared and press the copy and edit button.
If a template has been shared with you and the team mode has been activated, all authorised users can work together in this template, also without creating a copy.

Share templates within LAWLIFT

To share a template, click on the template you want to share in the dashboard. Then click on the three grey dots, then on SHARE. Select the individual users with whom the template should be shared (or an entire user group) by clicking on the grey dots next to the names that are now listed to the right of the page. You can also search for specific users by entering their names in the search field.
The shared template appears in the dashboard of these selected users and can either be used by them to create documents or edited as a copy. The original template remains unchanged.

Download and upload templates

You can share your templates within your law firm or company through different channels by downloading the template as a zip file. The recipient can then use and edit a copy of the template when they have uploaded it into their LAWLIFT-account.
To DOWNLOAD, click on the three dots next to the selected template, then on the newly appearing three grey dots and then on DOWNLOAD. The file will be saved to your computer as a zip file.
To UPLOAD, click on UPLOAD at the bottom of the screen next to CREATE NEW TEMPLATE. The template will now be displayed in the dashboard.
