Numbering
Please note that the numbering in bilingual mode is only in one column next to the left column and is not numbered in both columns.
Letterhead templates
When creating letterhead templates for bilingual templates, there are a few peculiarities to be considered that ensure a consistent presentation in Word.
In this context, please first consult our formatting help for monolingual templates.
The right column is not numbered in bilingual mode, so the unnumbered styles are used for all elements in the right column. Based on our standard letterhead template, the headings and paragraphs are merged with the formatting LL Heading Level (1) and LL Paragraph-Level (1).
In addition, the levels of the headings in the right-hand column are always located one level below the left-hand column. Based on our standard letterhead template, the heading on level 1 is merged with the formatting LL Heading Level 1 numbered. The heading on level 2 is merged with the format template LL Heading Level 2 numbered.
Here you will find a letterhead template adapted for the bilingual mode: LL_Default_1._1.1._-BM.docx
